President of New York State Bar Association Praises Caitlin Halligan’s Deep Commitment to Justice

Sherry Levin Wallach, president of the New York State Bar Association, issued the following statement about the state Senate’s confirmation of Caitlin Halligan as associate judge of the state Court of Appeals:
“Caitlin Halligan is a gifted attorney with a tremendous breadth and depth of high-level litigation experience. Her ability to analyze issues and come up with creative solutions will be a tremendous asset for the state Court of Appeals. She has demonstrated a deep commitment to justice through her extensive public and pro bono service and has gained a profound understanding of the implications of the court’s rulings on the people it serves. Her presence will be one of the factors that ensures that New York’s highest court will continue to have a stellar reputation around the nation and around the world.”
