T. Andrew Brown, president of the New York State Bar Association, issued the following statement today:

“In her State of the State speech, Governor Kathy Hochul has unveiled a far-reaching agenda including ethics reforms, voting rights and gun control. The New York State Bar Association has long advocated for measures to improve public confidence in our elected officials and institutions, eliminate voting restrictions and stem the flow of guns across state lines. We commend the governor on her initiatives, and we stand ready to assist in any way we can.”
