New York State Bar Association President T. Andrew Brown congratulated Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson on her confirmation to the U.S. Supreme Court:

“Ketanji Brown Jackson brings an unparalleled breadth of legal experience to the U.S. Supreme Court. She has been a law clerk to Justice Breyer, federal public defender, associate to distinguished law firms and a federal trial court judge. Her historic confirmation underscores the importance of diversity and equity. Her presence on the Supreme Court is vitally important because the judiciary must reflect the people it serves.”
