NYSBA honored employees of Whiteman Osterman & Hanna at a Bar Center luncheon on November 3.

The New York State Bar Association is honoring the capital region’s largest law firm, Whiteman Osterman and Hanna, for its participation in the association’s enterprise firm membership initiative. Launched earlier this year, the program provides a suite of services designed to meet the needs of an entire law firm including discounted educational programming and opportunities for professional development.

The association honored the firm with a luncheon on Nov. 3 at the Bar Center in Albany. President Richard Lewis and members of the Executive Committee spent time networking with representatives of the firm.

“One of my priorities as president is finding ways to make it easier to practice law and to be a successful lawyer in New York. The enterprise program helps attorneys stay up-to-date with trends and legal education,” said New York State Bar Association President Richard Lewis. “We are grateful for Whiteman Osterman & Hanna for taking advantage of this offer.”

“The NYSBA enterprise firm membership model provides our attorneys with easy access to top-quality programs, ” said Robert Schofield, managing partner at Whiteman Osterman & Hanna. “The administrative management tools provided also made managing our NYSBA membership easier.”

Members of the NYSBA Executive Committee discuss advances in technology with firm employees.

Other benefits of the firm membership program include:

• Thought leadership opportunities in association publications
• Input and involvement in the association’s advocacy for important policies and legislative changes impacting attorneys
• Discounted pricing on membership dues and professional development
• Group billing to reduce administrative time
